Love is in the Air in Baltimore this February
February 2, 2022Whether you’re single or in a relationship, Valentine's Day is the perfect time to celebrate all the love in your life, from self-love, to romantic love, to platonic love.
The history and origins of Valentine’s Day aren’t quite clear, but the holiday is related to different saints of the Catholic Church, the pagan celebration of a fertility festival called Lupercalia, and the beginning of birds’ mating season.
Baltimore’s Harbor East neighborhood is running several different promotions to help you get into the Valentine’s Day spirit. Everyday, from Tuesday, February 8th to Monday, February 14th, they’ll be hosting a giveaway on their Instagram page, @HarborEast, of an item worth at least $50. You can enter the giveaway by liking the photo and tagging 2 friends in the comments section. Additionally, on Saturday, February 12th, the neighborhood is partnering with participating retailers by providing them with a dozen roses to give out throughout the day to shoppers.
Looking for even more ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day? We’ve got you covered with a list of the best ways to get Valentine’s ready in Baltimore, all not too far from your home at Liberty Harbor East.
