July: It’s Grill Time!
July 15, 2021
At Liberty Harbor East, we’re celebrating National Grilling Month.
National Grilling Month is annually observed in July. As the temperature rises, many take to cooking outdoors. Grilling is the perfect excuse to gather with friends and family. It’s also the perfect time to bask in the sunshine and summer breeze.
Red, White, and Barbecue
We encourage our residents to utilize Liberty’s poolside grilling stations.
When grilling, remember to engage in healthy and safe food preparation, such as: washing/sanitizing hands, keeping food refrigerated before grilling, and keeping cooked food at a minimum of 140 degrees Fahrenheit. When finished grilling, be sure to clean up any mess so the next resident can enjoy a clean grilling station.
What’s Up, Dog?
Support our Baltimore economy and community, by purchasing locally-made sausages and other meats for National Grilling Month.
Ostrowski is a family-owned, Baltimore staple. They’re specifically infamous for their fresh sausages, kielbasa, bratwurst, and breakfast links. Products can be purchased at their store, on Bank Street. Ostrowski’s locally-made sausages are also located throughout the city—view where you can find them here.
Fenwick’s Choice Meats, located inside Cross Street Market in Federal Hill, is a family-owned business that’s been in the Market since 1952. Grill up some sausages, or even some steak!
Located in Monkton, Roseda Farm retails all-natural hotdogs and burgers. They also offer delectable dry-aged meats.
Frankly, They’re the Best
