Enjoy Thanksgiving in Baltimore: No Cooking Required!

Thanksgiving is nearly here and there is so much to be thankful for. Most of all though, we’re grateful for you, our incredible residents who make life at Liberty Harbor East so special. 

It’s been quite the year for everyone––we wouldn’t blame you if you’d prefer to skip the arduous cooking and cleaning that is usually associated with Thanksgiving for 2021. There are plenty of excellent options for dining and take-out located near Liberty Harbor East to try this year!

Dine-In

Enjoy a meal out this Thanksgiving, or gather friends for a Friendsgiving out on the town. We love each of these local spots, and they’re each serving up festive specials and holiday menus.

Four Seasons – Harbor East

Located just steps from your home here at Liberty Harbor East, the Four Seasons is the perfect destination for holiday celebrations. They’re hosting Thanksgiving Brunch in the Ballroom, a gourmet brunch buffet event with spectacular harbor views. Guests can enjoy holiday favorites like slow-roasted and herb-roasted ham, classic Thanksgiving sides, made-to-order omelets, and much more. They’re taking reservations for parties up to 10, just be sure to book your table in advance.

Mama's On The Half Shell - Canton

Over in Canton, Mama’s on the Half Shell will also be offering Thanksgiving specials, but with a Baltimorean twist. Known for their impeccable seafood, Mama’s offers a great ambiance and even better food. It’s a great place to bring out-of-town guests for a taste of the city! For Thanksgiving, they’ll be open from 12-8pm, serving a full raw bar, a special Thanksgiving menu, as well as a limited a la carte menu.

Charleston – Harbor East

If you’re looking for an upscale dining experience this year, you don’t need to look very far: Charleston here in Harbor East is a sure bet. Their prix-fixe 3-course holiday menu is the creation of the celebrated Chef Wolf, who has come up with two savory courses, an assortment of family-style sides, and, of course, dessert. Try new takes on Thanksgiving classics like butternut squash and andouille sausage soup with roasted pepita seeds and roasted turkey breast with turkey leg confit, pecan stuffing, and roasted sweet corn.

Takeout

If you’re planning to host Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving in your Liberty Harbor East apartment home this year, there are plenty of takeout options if you don’t feel like cooking:

Whole Foods - Harbor East

You don’t need to go far to get a delicious Thanksgiving dinner to-go. Whole Foods, one of our on-site retailers, is offering a Thanksgiving feast for 12, which includes a turkey, ham, seven sides, and two pies! If you have a smaller crowd, they also carry Thanksgiving dinners for four, as well as a variety of different premade sides and appetizers. 

Blue Hill Tavern - Canton

Pick up a Thanksgiving meal kit from Blue Hill Tavern on the day before Thanksgiving and your work is done! Their all-inclusive meal kits feed up to 10 guests and you can opt for add-on desserts, appetizers, or drinks if you’d like.

Gertrudes – Homewood

Gertrudes’ take-out package includes an entree, appetizer, dessert, and seven sides, like candied sweet potatoes and fresh brioche rolls. They usually sell out, so reserve your order by November 18th.

Richardson’s Farms – White Marsh (Baltimore County)

Treat your friends and family to a farm-fresh Thanksgiving dinner when you order from Richardson’s Farms. Their Thanksgiving packages include your choice of turkey or ham, plus plenty of sides and a dessert.

Atwaters – Various locations 

Atwaters has perfectly portioned takeout options. Snag a full turkey dinner that feeds 5-6 or pick up Turkey Dinner for Two platters if you’re keeping the holiday low-key this year.

818 Market – Catonsville (Baltimore County)

You can customize your takeout from 818 Market to your exact specifications. Select just one dish to supplement your table or stock up on everything from the bird to the beer.

Duck Duck Goose – Fells Point

They may be called Duck Duck Goose, but they’re still serving turkey for Thanksgiving. Their dinner for 2 includes a protein, a dessert, and your choice of 3 elevated side dishes, such as maple dijon roasted brussels sprouts and truffled macaroni and cheese.

Sally O's - Highlandtown

Satisfy your cravings for the turkey day classics with takeout from Sally O’s. They’ll have a special Thanksgiving Day menu including turkey, sweet potato casserole, pecan pie, and more.
